The Trailhead patio on Island Home has a full slate of sets to kick off the holiday weekend — WDVX radio tapings by day and a First Friday show in the evening.

Before the fireworks, Trailhead Beer Market strings together a run of live music on the patio. Thursday kicks off with a WDVX Blue Plate Special session from WestWend at noon; Friday brings Robinella for a midday WDVX set, then the monthly First Friday Live show in the evening with Travis Bigwood and Hollye B.

It's out on Island Home Avenue at the edge of the Urban Wilderness — pull up on the patio with a pint and let the long weekend start easy.
